The episode opens with Anupama pacing anxiously in the living room of the Shah residence. Vanraj sits on the couch, a tense silence hanging heavy in the air. Anxious glances are exchanged between them as they wait for any news about Anu.
Flashback – Anu’s Disappearance
We see Anu earlier that day, excitedly packing a small bag. Anupama questions her about the sudden packing, but Anu remains secretive, only revealing she needs to meet someone important. Despite Anupama’s pleas, Anu leaves in a taxi, leaving everyone worried.
Present Day
Annoyed by the silence, Vanraj breaks it.
Vanraj: (Scoffs) Great job keeping an eye on your daughter, Anupama. Disappears in the middle of the day, and you have no clue!
Anupama: Don’t you dare lecture me, Vanraj! I am just as worried as you are.
Toshu enters, adding to the tension.
Toshu: Any updates on Anu? I called Maya a dozen times, but her phone is switched off.
Anupama: (Tearful) I don’t understand what’s going on. Where could she have gone?
Just then, the doorbell rings. Everyone rushes to the door, hoping it’s Anu. Samar opens the door to reveal a flustered Pakhi.
Pakhi: Aunty Anupama! Uncle Vanraj! I saw Anu with Maya at the cafe near the college!
Relief washes over the room.
Anupama: Thank God! Thank you, Pakhi!
Vanraj: But why didn’t they come home?
Pakhi: I don’t know. Maya looked really upset, and Anu was trying to calm her down.
Anupama: (Determined) I’m going to the cafe. We need to get Anu home.
Vanraj: I’m coming with you.
At the Cafe
Anupama and Vanraj arrive at the cafe, searching for Anu and Maya. They find Maya sitting alone at a table, tears streaming down her face.
Anupama: Maya! What happened? Where’s Anu?
Maya looks up, her eyes red-rimmed.
Maya: (Sobbing) Anu… she’s gone.
Vanraj: Gone? What do you mean gone?
Maya explains that Anu received a call and rushed out, leaving Maya worried.
Flashback – Anu’s Phone Call
We see Anu receiving a call with a hidden number. The caller’s voice is muffled, but they seem distressed. Anu listens intently before hanging up with a determined look.
Present Day
Anupama: Who was on the call, Maya? Did Anu say where she was going?
Maya: I don’t know. She just said she had to help someone and left in a hurry.
Vanraj: This is ridiculous! This girl needs some serious sense!
Anupama shoots him a sharp look.
Anupama: This isn’t the time to point fingers, Vanraj. We need to find Anu.
Samar calls Anupama, informing them that the police are on their way.
Police Investigation
The inspector arrives and takes statements from Anupama, Vanraj, Maya, and Pakhi. He assures them they will do everything possible to find Anu.
Meanwhile, Anu
Anu finds herself at an abandoned warehouse, following the frantic instructions from the mysterious caller. Inside, she finds a young woman tied to a chair, her mouth gagged. Fear grips Anu as she realizes she might be in danger.
Back at the Shah House
The family waits anxiously for any news. An emotional Toshu blames himself for not keeping a closer eye on Anu.
Kinjal steps in, offering words of comfort.
Kinjal: Toshu, don’t blame yourself. We will find Anu. Anupama is a fighter, and she won’t rest until her daughter is safe.
The episode ends with a cliffhanger.
Anupama calls Kavya, desperately seeking any information that might lead to Anu.
Kavya reveals she overheard a cryptic conversation between Vanraj and a stranger a few days ago.
Anupama’s suspicions rise. Could Vanraj have something to do with Anu’s disappearance?
